Weighr is designed to keep your weight data private and under your control. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is stored and shared, and how you can delete or revoke access to your data.
Local data: By default, all weight entries, settings, and preferences you enter into Weighr are stored locally on your device only. Weighr does not transmit this information to our servers or to third parties.
Optional HealthKit integration: Weighr offers an optional feature to write (and optionally read) weight entries to Apple Health (HealthKit). This feature is disabled by default and will only be used if you explicitly grant Health permissions to Weighr via the system permission dialog.
No analytics or tracking: Weighr does not include third‑party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers that collect users’ personal data. We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising or profiling purposes.
Data you enter into Weighr is used locally to provide the app’s functionality, including:
If you enable HealthKit sync, Weighr will write all weight entries to the Health app. Writing data to Health is performed on‑device using the HealthKit APIs and requires your explicit consent. After Weighr writes entries to Apple Health, those records are managed by the Health app and subject to Apple’s Health and iCloud settings.
By default, Weighr stores all app data locally on your device. The app does not use remote servers to persist user data. Local data on the device is protected by the device’s operating system security (for example, Data Protection while the device is locked) and by any passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID protections you have enabled on your device.
HealthKit data: If you enable HealthKit sync, weight entries written to the Health app are stored by Apple. Those records may be included in iCloud backups or iCloud Health sync if you have enabled Health in iCloud on your device. Weighr does not control Apple’s backup or sync behavior; see Apple’s Health & iCloud settings for details.
Within the app: You can delete individual weight entries or clear all data using the app’s UI. Deleting entries in Weighr removes them from the app’s local storage.
Uninstalling the app: Uninstalling Weighr removes the app and its local data from your device. Uninstalling does not automatically remove entries that were previously written to Apple Health.
Removing data from Apple Health: To remove entries that were synced to Apple Health, open the Health app, locate Body Measurements (Weight), find the entries you want to remove, and delete them there. You may also revoke Weighr’s access to Health data at any time by going to Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Weighr and adjusting permissions.
Weighr does not transmit personal data to third‑party servers for analytics, advertising, or tracking. The app does not include advertising SDKs or analytics services by default. The only third‑party software potentially involved is Apple’s HealthKit framework when you enable Health sync; data written via HealthKit is stored and managed by Apple.
Weighr does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account or personal identifiers to function.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated in the app when feasible. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Weighr is provided by an independent developer. While we aim to be transparent and accurate about data handling, if you rely on this policy for legal purposes please consult applicable law or a qualified attorney. This policy describes current app behavior; features or platform behavior (for example, Apple Health or iCloud backups) are governed by Apple’s policies and settings.
